submitting documents at CHC new delhi

hello everyone. I need to submit some documents at CHC new delhi.  I can submit them in person.  I just wanted to know should i submit in person or send them through courier. which is going to be a better way.

if you have a file #, you can courier it... lots of people have done that - and it reaches the office and goes with your file.

I haven't heard about going in person - I'm not even sure if you can do that. Anyone know?

Mail or Fax with file number, you can't go there in person and submit documents.

I had e-mailed CHC ND asking them if I can send them additional docs and they replied saying that I can only do so once my application has been transferred to ND and after a file number has been created.

So, if you already have a file number, send them the docs along with a brief cover letter quoting your file number and outline what docs you are sending and why.

does the visa office put it on the e-cas that the document has been received.
