Subject of Email Notification - AOR

May i know also the subject posted once they sent you an AOR using email communication... Coz im trying to search it in my email inbox and spam, still cant find one..thank you very much..

Hi,

It will say "Application for Permanent Residence in Canada" and will be from "FSW-Centralized-Intake-Office".
Look for that magical key word in your inbox..

It did not go to Spam for me.i am on yahoo.

Its about my application sent last year, first week of april 2009..still no reply from canadian embassy ns...two of my friends received their AOR after a month..any idea? i sent 2 weeks ago my query about it via FEDEX but still no reply...thanks..

Hello mate,

If this is first approval you are talking about then you should have received your first update with in  60-90 days max..
You will have to keep emailing the CIC regular intervals to get answer.. They might not have record of your applicantion so they did not bother to reply..
Call up their canadian number if possible..

Are you sure your application was deleiverd to them ?? your draft encashed ?

Yeah, im sure..coz i sent email to Canadian Embassy in Manila and they advised me to write a letter in NS..And the bank says they dont have means to trace if the transaction was already made coz it was already transferred to a bank from Canada from the date i bought the check..in my account, transaction was done..(sigh)

Write a letter to NS then..
but i am sure you will be able to cancel the issued Draft if you request to bank..
If nothing works out  then take hard step and ask bank to cancel the draft.
CIC will definitely wake up to this and will return your application if they have it.. otherwise you will get your money back before its in wrong hands..

I already did..but still thinking of calling for follow up..what do u think? And i open the cic website..i've read about submission of application after Feb 2008 to Sep 2009..it will take 9-12 mos. processing..well, the most..Anyway, thank you very much for the time..highly appreciated..
