Hello All,

My wife has a multiple visitor's visa for 2 years (V-1)
She wants to study English in Canada. I found a nice TOEFL course but they break the course in 2 levels (first course is 4 months, second course is 4 months)
I know that she can study for 6 months only. Do we need to apply for a study permit? Or is there any way to study more than 6 months with a 2 year multiple entry visa? The only info I was able to find is - you can study 6 months with a visitors visa, and stay 6 months in Canada. Is there any way to extend this with an application or leaving the country and entering back?

Much appreciated, regards

She should get an acceptance letter from the school and then apply for changing the conditions of her stay (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visitor.asp).
