hi all,
im a foreign student in the UK....have been deinied a TRV in 2006 to visit for a conference, on the basis that my status is temporary in (United Kingdom), im planning to do Msc in canada next year. is it advisable to apply for study permit again from london?

There shouldn't be any problem to apply from London. I knew a friend who did his Undergraduation in Malaysia (on a temporary visa), then applied for Canada temporary visa (for MSc. studies).
I guess embassies always deal a case by case basis.

thanks for your reply, i also have a PR application submitted last year, im i qualified to apply for TRV.

Hi you should be able to apply coz I did the same in the U.K I got a visitors visa denied then I applied for a study permit and got it.  Good luck
