<sorry for posting this in two threads>

Hi

I am an internation student in Canada. I had applied for my Study permit and off-campus work permit extension renewal in February (application submitted on 25th of February). My previous study permit expired on March 30 and so I am now on implied status. I have not yet got any information from CPC Vegreville regarding my case. They are still (for the last two weeks) processing cases until February 20 for work permit unit 202. I submitted my application there since my off-campus work permit needed renewal as well. Now I have received my PPR from Buffalo. If I send my passport to Buffalo and in the meantime I do not get my study permit renwed (God forbid) from Vegreville, what happens to my PR visa. Can I still go to US border and land as PR? Although when I will enter with PR visa, I will have no status in Canada, will that create any problems.

I have called CIC call centre several times but every time they tell me to wait until a couple of more weeks and now I am getting really worried. I will appreciate any advice from PMM and other senior members.

Thanks
