Hi Everyone...
I applied for Study Permit and got my Medical Request in 10 days...
I have been reading the Infozee Forum and came across alot of similar topics and most of them concluded that getting medical request means that the Visa is confirm if you are medically fit. But the Letters I received as an request to go and get the Medical checkups done clearly states that this does not confirms the approval of Visa.
I am in Karachi Pakistan and have applied in CHC Islamabad.
1. Does Medical really confirms Visa.
2.And I have already send my passport through my Education consultant who is my representative. is it ryt? or Do I need to wait for CHC to ask Me to send the Passport?

I am almost certain that medical exam means that your visa is confirmed. Please let me know when you have got your visa. I have applied and am waiting for my study permit and visa.

hey i think medical doesn't confirm visa i have seen few ppl getting rejected after visa. can u tell me when did u applied for visa ? and for which university?

I applied on 15th of July got my Medical Request on 25th July I guess and than Submitted the Passport back after Medical on 30th July
Anyone else?

No the medical for a study permit does mean that the visa is guaranteed. If you note, your letter probably said something along the lines "that the medical is at your own risk" They request the medical before refusing or approving the visa, because it cuts another month off the processing time. getting medical request does not mean u will get visas there are many students from karachi medical done but not got student visas

No I haven't I am so Tense  ... My Admission Offer was conditional so I got a call from CHC they asked my result and said that they will confirm this from my School and I should get my passport by this Week ..Not sure with Visa or without VISA |

Don't worry man it was conditional offer letter stating u to do some course or ielts? why it was conditional ?
do tell me. i applied on july 23rd and got medical on 4th aug .. done with medical on around 8 th aug sent back my passport now waiting just wondering if i will get back in time or not?
my ist offer letter was conditional uni asked me to take ielts again i did and then they sent me another offer letter. hope u did same too

My offer was conditional Because my A levels result was yet to Arrive...The result came on 10th and the grades were better than what university asked for...I am not sure what they are doing...
When are your classes starting and any information on Tickets...I ask the agent He said I will be hard to find a flight in such a short notice

well dont worry abt tickets if u get visa consult 2-3 agents they will find you which city ur from? mmm my classes starting on 4th september hope i will get b4 my classes starting ... ask travel agent to do something or make some plan transit they gona find u dont worry abt ur seat  regards |

well no update as days running out ((((9 we can plan and do anything else ... well every 1 send their application through tcs and u going to get it through tcs so dont worry ... i wonder if some1 know how to inquire about passport. hope to get visa soon. regards |

When are your classes starting from? Mine are starting from 2nd Sept...I will miss the orientation for sure now as it will start from 27th Which University? I am into Simon Fraser University
