Does anybody know if doing a course affects our status?

It is a fee paying course which is going to be a great benefit to me when I (eventually) get my PR?

I think that will be a good idea while you wait for your visa Smiley I do not think it has any impact on your visa processing, in fact, it might just help you deal better when you eventually land in Canada and try the job market. All the very best! Smiley

Its an evening course, each module lasts about 4 months, 3hrs a night, 1 night per week.

The only reason i was asking was when i extended my visitor visa, it asks did i attend any courses

As I understand it, if the total course length is over 6 months, then you are likely to have a problem.
