Hi,

I wanted to know what happens if i have a residency appeal in progress on humanitarian grounds and i apply for the student visa? Is it possible to get the Visa ? are the two mutually exclusive of each other or the fact that i have applied for the residency appeal would affect my student Visa.

Informed opinions are requried.

Thanks

1.  You are appealing your residency so it is unlikely that CIC/CHC will issue a study permit since you haven't officially lost your PR status until the IAD rules on the appeal.  So they won't admit you as a student which is visitor status.
