hi everyone,

i am rajiv jain from india.i hv done my mba and i applied for student visa in canada.i got admission in vancouver island university and i got admission in one year diploma for business studies.bt embassy rejected my visa file stating that my selected course is irrelevant with my previous studies.

now my agent is saying that reapply with same course.n he says if change my course embassy might think that im nt serious.i askeda another agent n he says he wil apply fresh with new admission in diff course and in different college.

so kindly plz sum1 guide what further step should i tk.

If u apply with a different course, embassy may rightly feel that ur purpose is not study and that u were not serious about ur previous course and therefore u r not serious this time too rather just need student visa.
So first try to convince CHC that u r serious about this course and that it is relevant. U can show relevance by showing that how it will help to get better job. If u r working somewhere try to get a letter that this course will help in ur current job.
But if u can't do that then apply with fresh college and fresh course.You may say that u changed the course because u got admission in a better one now.
