Student visa and medical test

Hi All
Can any body tell me?
do they take medical test for study visa in pakistan?
if yes then what test will they take?

Yes they ask you for a medical when you submit an application.. they just do a physical chk up.. Take a urine sample.. Chest xray.. And blood for hiv.. It takes a couple of hrs if u go to a rush place..

thanks alot for your reply. I am just worried becoz i have done my test and every thing is fine but my ALT is little highter limit is 50 and mine is 52 i heared UK embassy reject if its high so i want to know is it the same case for canada embassy too???

by the way ALT is liver test

No they didn't rejected i didn't apply yet. I am planing to apply. I was just curious if they can reject my
visa on the basis of this medical test.

Of course they can reject your application on the basis of medical.. if you have not applied yet make sure your liver is fine by the time you get your medical done.. I dont think they require your liver test.. they take your blood for HIV, at least that is what they say in the medical form.

well i recently did my medical from Dr ahsan waheed rathore,
The things they checked were:

Chest X-ray
Took blood for HIV test
Urine sample
eye sight
height
weight
blood pressure
some physical exercises to check if my bones are strong

I dont think you should worry about that only contagious desease really
