Student Visa And Beyond...

Hello...
I just want to ask a random question here about student visas... So, If I managed to get a student visa to study in one of the canadian colleges, now what is the less expensive "cheapest" fees of studying there? which faculty?

plus.. as you can see here that I have no enough money to study there since I'm looking for cheapest faculty, if I apply for a student visa and once I reach Canada, can I cancel my willingness of study and everything goes ok? because I don't have much money for studying...

THOUGH, I would appreciate if you people propose some recommendations here about the cheapest colleges..

I don't know where the cheapest tuition fees are found - however I'm sure it's several thousand dollars at a minimum. Are you aware that when you apply for a student visa, you must show a bank account balance that covers the cost of first year tuition - plus living expenses? (Living expenses are considered to be $10K C$.) To be approved for a Student Visa, it's also recommended that you pay first year or first semester tuition fees in advance (before you apply). There are also other application conditions that must be met (e.g. education statement of purpose, demonstrating that you have ties to your home country and will return after your studies have been completed).

I believe that dropping out of school invalidates your student visa. Hopefully someone can confirm.

This problem also applies to my other request. I am thinking of Sponsoring my TG girlfriend and bringing her in on a student visa as opposed to a visitors visa because she has no bank account nor official job. I am trying to set up a joint account here in Canada but it won't work unless she's present which is impossible. I'm am working on an account with her name on it as "Power of Attorny" which I can do without her presence according to HSBC.

As spoonsor I can afford to pay her tuition fees and living expenses (she'll be staying with me). The problem is she has no ties to her country due to the way of life in Indonesia where poverty rules and living day to day is the norm. Also I discovered, in order for her to open a bank account she needs to deposit a sum of 2000 USD and must maintain that balance which she doesn't have and neither do I (well I do, but I'd rather have the money than leave it in a bank account doing nothing).

As far as cheap schools in Canada. probably one of the cheapest cities to be educated in is Montreal. I found a language school that named College Platon that offers English courses for about 4000 CAD. The only downside is they want all the money up front.
The other option is try public colleges or universities (Concordia) , tuitions and schoold fees are considerably less and hey you'll walk away with an education.
