Student aide and sponsorship

Hello all,
I was wondering if anybody knows the answer:
I landed as a permanent resident a couple of months ago. I wanted to go back to school to finish my degree and even though I have some savings, I wanted to ask for student financial aide to help me out for the next year or so. My partner sponsor me to come to Quebec from USA, on the application it states that she is financially responsible for me for the next 3 years if I ask for government assistance, she would have to pay it back. I'm not depending on her since I work from home for a US company. My question is, if I ask for student aide will she have to pay it back to the Government later? Also, would I be able to get a loan?
Thank you in advance!

My husband was researching the same thing on my behalf, and he found:
http://www.afe.gouv.qc.ca/CONTACT_UC/Publications/AFE/PUBL_Aide_votre_portee_2012_2013_A.pdf
It doesn't say anything about a sponsor having to reimburse the government for financial aid, but if you have a sponsor, that person's financial resources will be considered, and the contribution will be established in the same way as the parental contribution.

Thanks! Yeah I found that last week. Not sure what to do now because my sponsor makes good money.
