Roll Eyes My husband is a H-1B visa holder, we applied and send all documents in Nov/ 2009, he didn't use any courier, at this moment we haven't received anything yet. I still have the hope that it will take exactly 4 months to get an answer. Could somebody tell me and idea on what could happened. Do we still have to continue waiting? I don't want to make any phone calls other wise the office warns you that your process will be delayed more just to give you any information. And then what happen after they send you a case number. Any help please?

It depends, it may take a little longer, but 4 months is very short.

Give some more time for the office and what is the NOC code he applied by the way ?

Why nobody takes in count the H-4 holders; we are smart human beings also; somo of us can't apply for an H1-B because our profession requires that we come back two years to the school; that's really unfair, sad and discriminatory policy; otherwise, we could be perfectly being productives and working in an area related with what we know to do best. Sad
