I am planning on applying for a visitor visa to Canada and wondering if I need to say YES to the quesiton below.

Have you or any member of your family ever:
Applied for any Canadian Immigration visas
(e.g. Permanent Resident, Student, Worker, Temporary Resident (visitor), Temporary Resident Permit)?

I have applied for and have received my nomination from Alberta, BUT I have not sent my documents to the CIC. Do US citizens require visitor visa to visit Canada? Thanks.

Immigration application will be considered only when you move application to CIC but As a bonafide applicant say NO in Answer Box but attach a separate sheet and explain that I have recieved Nomination and will be applying to CIC for PR Visa. That makes you Bonafide and also remember That once you recieve the nomination certificate, AINP people automatically forward your filled CIC forms to CIC Buffalo, therefore they request from you when you apply fro PNP.

Does anybody applied for the pre-assessment but did not wait for the invitation letter?
I applied for the pre-assessment in december. Since th rules changed for 2009, I did not wait for the inivation letter and filed a total new application according to the revised rules. Then I recieved the invitation letter now. What do I do? file another one or just forfeit the invitation letter?
Did anyone do as what I did?

at the very least, call up AINP and talk to them about your situation.

I think it's only good for Alberta provinces...  It said AINP on the letter-head.  AB is really getting to get IT hub for the provinces...

I have just now pulled that new Alberta list and....well...I may have messed up.

In the invitation letter they put invitation under the occupation of Unix Sys Admin and they did not tie in the NOC code. That is all well and fine, but I  may have assigned myself wrong NOC while filling complete application...

I just sent my application packet last week. And I think there may be another NOC code on that shortage list that fits me better. What can I do now? Or is it too late to do anything?

Also, i remember reading that the other guy who assigned himslf the wrong code from the shortage list got his nomination.
And then there was couple of rejections...

I am so s****ed if I get rejection!!!!!
