i am plaing to apply AINP programe. but i have some question, if anybody can help me, will be higly appriciate.

In my Job offer letter, it says Web developer, but i am working as Software QA lead. I have collected my Job verification letter and it says software testing lead. do you think that i might be eligibale for NOC 2283 - which is "Systems Testing Technicians" . if i apply for this NOC 2283- what is the chance to be selected.

Does anyone have applyed for this NOC?

Any help will be higly approcoated

You should put the number as per the H1 Petiton was filed. What you are doing?, Why you are doing?, Why your petition skill and actual work skill are not same? This is for you consulting Boss "Mr. Reddy"
Remember you are on H1 Visa and getting paid as your status is vaild. rest all details Alberta office will get from USCIS office. That's what Alberta office does in their scrutiny. Even in pre asessment you mention your title as "Business Analyst" but when you will recieve the AINP brown invitation packet, in cover letter your occupation will not be as "Business Analyst" but it will be "Systems Analyst and Programmer" because this is the Position for which reddy filed your H1B.. not the Business Analyst. Reality is that if Reddy sent your H1 petition as Business Analyst it will never approve since there is no such designation in eyes of USCIS.  So same thing applies in your case. Always mention the designnation as per your H1B Petition. Also DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE TO OVERLAP OR COMBINE VARIOUS SKILLSET!!! like somebody just adviced that you can say that you are Web developer and Systems testing technician and so on... Practically it is possible that during SDLC your are actually working as QA, BA and developer but in Alberta PNP application just mention what H1 petition says. No body is coming from Alberta to see that what web you developed.

I think you can put both the codes in your application. Alberta can decide which code do you fit in.

Has anybody gone through the AINP with a job title other than the one that was mentioned on H1B filing and GOT the nomination?

If you are on H1B and your job title gets changed or you get promoted, do you have to let the USCIS know about that? Is there a fee that needs to be paid to the USCIS on doing this?

Do you really think the USCIS people will pick up the phone when the AINP people call and provide them all the information on so many H1B holders? I saw somebody mentioning this on other thread and I really doubt it.

First of All, they put the EAC, WAC numbers in www.uscis.gov and see the status of your I- 797 then they have different contact number apart from regular 1-800 lines which are used by workers and Consultants in United States.

i highly doubt alberta pnp contacts USCIS. For USCIS , alberta pnp is just like an external person and they will not entertain any queries..

If this is in the AINP 009 form, you will mention your home country (where you have passport from). It is not where you reside now. If you have permanent residency in US, you may not have the need to apply for PR in Canada I guess...;-)

Ok, I see it's also # 14. Country of Last Permanent Residence.
So my earlier statement still applies -  you should put your home country there. That's what I did in my 009 form. Other folks who got their nominations, please chime in.

I would like to caution All AINP H1B applicants soliciting advise on this forum to

also talk to AINP Hotline directly  before taking any advise on this forum

at face value.  I have always consulted this hotline several times before applying

and even after getting nominated. They have been very helpful and are right source to seek.

2-3 month processing time... you guys should stop complainning about their "service"....

I already live in canada for 7 years and my office is 200 yards away from the immigration center, I been waiting 5 months already since I applied and heard nothing yet...

Its now taking AB gov triple time for reviewing an application from inside canada than whos outside.

Hellboy are you sure what time it takes for pre-assessment. I applied for my pre-assessment on Dec 16, 2008. As I did not hear from them I sent an email to them on Jan 29, 2009. They replied me on Jan 30, 2009 that it has been sent. So anyone not getting in 6 weeks can email them. I know they have said you should not email but then thats fine.

Those who want to know the FBI clearance timeline :

Sent Finger Print forms on Jan 23rd.

Received the FBI Card and stamped backside saying that No Arrest Record on today Feb 4th.

So it tooks just one week........ It is very quicker then i expected.

What in this request do you NOT understand?

I just wish everyone here extended a simple courtesy of abiding by their ONE request! Y'all have been rotting in the US Green Card process for years together. And you lose your patience with Alberta officials in just a few weeks? Just because you have their e-mail address and just because they are polite enough to respond does not mean y'all keep bombarding their inbox!
How many e-mails did y'all send to USCIS?? And how many times did they respond (am not talking about canned e-mail responses!)

No it is NOT fine!!!

See there are a lot of cases approved in 4-5 weeks. So some cases unfortunately takes more than 6 weeks. So not all of the guys need to email them. And if you do not want then do not send email. This was just my suggestion.

Do not call or email to Alberta Office if you have applied. We are here on forum to quench the thirst of your queries. Let them process your PNP Certificate. NO PHONE AND NO EMAIL. They will start doing like the Embassy of your Home Country, where when you call, Nobady responds and Voice mail box is full!!! Please NO Phone call or No email.
