Are you about to die?  If so, I would spend my last few months doing something other than waiting for immigration?  If not, you are in the same boat as a lot of other people.  Things take time, usually longer than they say.

I do not think what you said is correction.what you said is PR application.mine is ELMO application,no one would care about where you come from.

Hi Fyang,
I really don't understand why it is taking so long this year, I had my Lmo processed in a month 1/2 last year (in toronto). When I called the Human Resources Canada they told me the processing time whose 20 to 25 business days, and I have been waiting for 43 days now to have my Lmo renewed.
Why is it taking so long I have no idea.
PS: let me know as soon as you get yours.

Where is your employer located? And when did they apply? Is it the first time apply for an LMO on your behalf or is it an extension/ renewal of LMO?
The Human resources never contacted your employer since the apply for the Lmo?

You may wanna start looking for another employer. I recommend you visit this site for jobs:

http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/

The positions in the following list take around a week for the LMO to be approved in Alberta and BC only:

http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/en/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/elmopp/elmoppone.shtml

The positions for Occupations under pressure that are not on the list above, should take around a month:

http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/en/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/occunderpres.shtml

God bless you.
