Applied to sponsor my bf, via common law in Buffalo NY  We've bee waiting for a long time now, I think we deserve an answer. It's ridiculous how long. We sent them more supporting documentation last month and our MP emailed them and got this response: " Your application is with an IO" currently under review. |

Correction it says: Your application is under review How much longer do you guys think? This is what they said to me also "under review"... Does this mean the application is not been touch and still for review OR currently being reviewed? |

we have the same status raniloc, actually im not sure sometimes they just proceed to dm from app receive, if you want to know more about it,try to ask mps help so ul get infos about ur application |

Another question, Back in April I received the AOR, Passport request and Appendix A and submitted them. However, I sent another document a letter just last week as I overlooked an information in my history that they need to know. Would they include this late information in my application package? |

It's odd, we're still waiting, another week has gone by and it's almost hitting the 12 month mark. Calling Immigration Canada won't do anything, do you think I should try calling Buffalo? There's no way I would even get thru....
I guess all I can do is continue to wait, it just sucks when people who have applied in 2011 are getting PPR before people who've applied back in August 2010. I'm happy for them but it makes me worried that they've forgotten about us, the ones who applied back in 2010.

Chess101- I feel yer pain, altho is hasn't been a year since we sent away our application, its been a year since I have seen my husband. We did further medical testing back in april and to this day we haven't heard a word yet. I'm very happy for 2011 ppl that are getting thro but sad as well ofcourse. I keep thinking to myself well when is my happiness gonna come?!?! I feel like my IO is MIA. I've sent emails and no response whatsoever. I'm giving it till the end of next week and then I will contact my MP! Maybe you should do the same
