Is it ok to apply for out of country sponorship while I am in Canada or do I need to leave?

Also is there a better way for me to post than what I am doing. I have been starting a new topic each time. I am sure I will have more questions and maybe I can help others with my experience as I do this.

You must apply from wherever you're living.  Also, you must keep CIC updated on your current address.  So if you apply from the U.S. and go to Canada to reside for a while, you should give them your new address.
