These are the main ones that I can think of, just to give you an idea:
1) You can order a sponsorship kit from CIC.
2) Fill out your forms. Some info has to be filled after you got married
3) Take his forms with you to Cairo and ask him to fill them out.
4) He has to get his documents translated (if they are not in English or French)
Some document that he needs are (birth certificate, your marriage certificate, police clearance, military service, if he has, and so on)
5) He has to find a doctor from the list of designated doctors in Egypt:

6) You will have to pay the fees online (most probably $1040)
7) There is also form that you both need to sign.
Gather all the documents.
Bring them all back to Canada.
8) You will need to mail all to CPC-Mississauga.
Do not forget to read through all documents once you received the kit... I may have missed some key info.
You can actually download most of the documents that they send in their kit, from the website, beforehand.
