Steps after Provincial Nomination
PNP Ontario under International Students Category.
I am waiting for nomination under international students category of Ontario's PNP program. I am trying to find information and forms for submission after provincial nomination. All I found on CIC website relates to information for those people who are nominated from outside Canada and not under international students category

Steps after Provincial Nomination
PNP Ontario under International Students Category.
I am waiting for nomination under international students category of Ontario's PNP program. I am trying to find information and forms for submission after provincial nomination. I'm actually surprised that you did not find anything. And once you are a nominee, the category (Int'l Std or Masters or PhD stream) doesn't play a role anymore to CIC. Anyway, this is the CIC link to the application procedure:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-application.asp

Since you are getting nomination from Ontario, you will most likely apply to CIC - Buffalo for PR. Then, you have to apply satisfying their needs. I'm giving you the link to Buffalo-PNP site:
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/prov_nominees-candidats_prov.aspx?lang=eng (try all the links especially "Helpful Hints")

Hope it helps. Let me know if you need anything. If you think there are few days left for your nomination certificate to arrive; you can get your POLICE CLEARANCE from your country of nationality. This is the only thing that may take time and you MUST need it to submit your PR application to Buffalo.

thanks a lot for the detailed response. I finally did find the form etc.
yes I am trying to get police clearance certificate. However my pnp is expected with in 3 months (trying to work ahead of time).
My main confusion was where to apply. It is good to know that i can apply to Buffaloo as I have been in Canada for more than 1 year.

One more question since you have already applied.
The form says that you do not sign the last SECTION of Background/Decleration form at this moment and you would have to sign it in front of some Canadian Government official. When would I need to sign the last Section and should I send in the complete form without signing the last Section

Re: Police Certificate, this is copied from the Application Guide "The certificate must have been issued no more than three months prior to submitting your application", keep this in mind.

It will be written in your Nomination Certificate package where you are supposed to apply (i.e. Buffalo). But it's most likely that they would tell you to apply to CIC-Buffalo.

I did not sign there. I don't know when I have to sign there, a guess would be at the last stage when you cross the border to have your Visa on your passport.
