Step 2.....PLEASE

Hi every one , does the VISA OFFICE update the system when they receive our application in sponsored country for step 2 ( MINE IN TEL AVIV)
or gonna be the same thing like mississauga they update it only when they start working on our appl
 my appl transferred on march 15 , so when can i expect them to receive it and update it online ??

I can only share my personal experience but from what I have read I just want to advise you that e-cas is not very reliable as some people get updated and others don't. I am not sure about the visa office that you are dealing with but for Kingston, Jamaica they received my application in July and I only was updated on e-cas in January before that it said not available. Now I am only seeing application received with the date.

BTW the visa office is suppose to send out a acknowledgement of receipt of the application within 90 days of receipt at the visa office . This is not always done but it kind of gives you something to look forward to.

We are going through tel aviv and our e-cas was updated for Step 2.

Below is our timeline so far - hope it helps as I haven't seen very many people going through Tel Aviv

We sent our application on Jan 17th

Our e-cas activated for our sponsorship approval. Feb 10th

Then we got an e-cas update saying they had received our file Feb 17th

We received an email from them asking for the police clearence March 9th

Then we got aother e-cas update saying they started processing our application March 12
