Dear Friends,
I am starting this new thread to share the experience and timeframe for the applicants who are staying in Middle east and have selected New Delhi as their VO.
As I am residing in Abu Dhabi & have selected ND as VO-finding a bit difficult to share my timelines with similar experiences.
Hope to get some more companions with similar path towards canadian immigration..

i hope your passports are with you and not with your employer, otherwise how will you leave them with new delhi vo for almost 2-3 months? they are asking for ppr along with mr. also how will you post it from uae to new delhi? unless of course you are planning to leave your job soon and go back to india. hope you have taken into consideration all these points before choosing new delhi vo.

@ xenos, Thanks for replying.My passport is with me and my employer also know about my canadian immigartion file as I've received Ref letter from My HR manager. Moreover ,Abu dhabi applicants send their passports to London office likewise i can send my PP to New Delhi.Whats new in that?!! Pl. clarify more. Regards Edmonta |

Hi Edmonta, There is a point in xenos statement....If you carefully read his statement he is saying that ND VO is asking for PPR along with MR...Here he means to say that when you go for medical in India , they will take your passport and it might take 2 to 3 months to keep the passport with them. Then if you want to travel back to UAE in short time, How will you do that....? Good question by xenos....  |

It is illegal to courier a passport from India to any CHC for visa stampimg.
Indian Passpert can be send from Dubai to London CHC since it is not sent from Indian soil thereby not violating the Indian laws.

YOU r a indian passport holder hence u will have to personally go to india for passport submission or authorise somebody travelling to india to submit on ur behalf.
YOU can send anywhere ur passport in the globe except to and from india thru courier.

Hi Nevil, If your visa office is ND, then how you will do the medical in Abu Dhabi....? Is there any clause which states that UAE Visa office can request for Medical on behalf of New Delhi....?. If its allowed then fine... Regarding your passport to India, you can solve that by sending the passport with an authority letter to your relatives going to India. Regards Cool |
