Hello,

is it possible to stay in Canada (Alberta) and work for UK company remotely while waiting for PR card? would be 3-4 months before card comes, hopefully. Also if we have kids can they get a temporary study visa until the PR card comes through?

We would not need anything from Canadian government regarding funds etc we can survive with our own funds.

cheers

You mean to say you are waiting for your PR visa and not your PR card?  If you have already gotten the PR visa, you just need to land and then you will be PR, even if you don't have the card yet for another 1-2 months.

If you are still waiting for your PR visa, you can come to Canada as a visitor.  If you want to work remotely for a UK company while you are visiting Canada, there should be no problem with that.  You might have problems enrolling your kids in school.  That would depend on the school district.  If you have problems, you can apply for a student visa for minors for them.
