Hey That's a good news!

Congratulations!

I was just curious as to how long does it take for the whole process. I applied for it on 5th of march.

How do we know if the application is being reviewed or not and has the application actually reached them or not.

I have applied through an agency(waste of money I think).

But they would not have any confirmation as to it reached or not and they say it takes 12-16 weeks for any action to be taken.

Any information would be greatly appretiated.

Thanks

Are you talking about GC (USA) or PR (Canada)?

PR for Canada takes a lot of time!!!!

Hi Ada,

Congratulations for the GC. U.S. still has more jobs than Canada.By the way,how much time it took you to get your Green card.

Congratulations on your GC (this could be a like a dream come true moment for you and your family).

Since you mentioned EB1-C category, am thinking that you applied under the International Manager Category.

I have couple of questions for you - Are you on your L1A visa and did your employer sponsor your GC or did you do it on your own?

Your reply is much appreciated

Congrats ADA!
Those are great news but also sad news as well. Yet another family gave up on "Canadian dream" due to too long waiting times.
Sometimes I think that Buffalo office makes it longer in purpose to encourage these kinds of scenarios.

HI ADA,

I am talking about the canadian PR. I have applied for GC in EB2 catagory here in the US but I am sure it would take atleast 8 more years for me to get it. Till now my Labor certification has not been cleared.

So I applied for Canadian PR as a Backup and was wondering how long does it take usually.

Also can some one tell me what AOR means.
