Guys:

Applied in June 2008. Occupation is in list of 38 i.e. General practitioner Doctor. They never asked supporting documents which I never submitted because at that time new Delhi Consulate was just taking applications and not asking for documents.

What does it mean if online status for FSW says "Withdrawn". After I click withdrawn, inside it says "Decision has been made on Application. You would be contacted soon."

does it mean rejection????

it might be that yours appliation went to CIO and then they have made a decision on your application. Their system is different so they write withdrawn. if it is them who changed the status to withdrawn then it doesn't mean anything. Not good , not bad.

I just read it out on online application status.

It is written that withdrawn mean they have closed your file.

So...whatever the reason it would be you will know when you get the letter from them.

Hope for the best.

sydney withdraws your file once they decide whether it is positive or not.

Did your application go to Sydney?

If yes, then of course they need to make a decision.

They have most probably forwarded the file to sydney, it shows withdrawn for all Sydney applications.

You will find out if they have declined your case or approved it, but if your saying that your on the list, most probably you'll be getting a 120 day letter soon InshAllah.

Kind Regards,

Amin.

I applied under FSW in 2008 after feb 19, i.e. under new rules to New delhi consulate.

I am not worried about "Withdrawn" because I have heard many people in past have such status but was later changed to "In progress". I am more worried about what I see when i click on withdrawn "Decision has been made on Application, You will be contacted."

Sonu,

they are the ones to first get the nomination with fake employment letters. dont worry about them and think of yourself and anoop.
