Hey, please read post on this thread by optimusprime

thanks AKK.
I am currently living outside the CA, but i need CA PCC. According to the site you provided, I need manual fingerprint card along with the letter stating the purpose of fingerprint.
Am I right?
Second, Do you have any idea how long it take to get CA PCC?
Thank in advance for answering.

I don't really know about out of state CA pcc..I know that I did it digital, not manual, but yes, you need the form.
It takes a week, max two.
But I got disappointed..it is just a printed page saying you have no criminal records, no stamp, no special paper, nothing....anyone could have done that in a regular computer...

You can go to a police office and make digital fingerprints there...don't forget to bring the required forms with you.
I paid 20 for digital printing and 32 for fee, when I went to the police office, they sent it from there..I didn't have to send anything myself.

Can anyone tell me how do I get California fingerprint card?
I suppose the address to send available in the forum and fee is $32.
Looking forward if someone help me to sort out this query.
Thanks.

Guys,

For those of you who used livescan (digital fingerprinting service) to get your california state police clearance, did you try to check with the automated system the status of your livescan application?

I tried the automated system but my ATI was not recognized so i have to call DOJ itself and was given a number to call for immigration purposes. so when I called the number, i was only prompted to leave a voice mail.

i'm wondering why some got their result pretty fast.  the fingerprinting technician told me that usually it take 3 to 5 days.  I had my digital fingerprinting on april 10.

any advice you can give?

I've not done this yet, so cannot provide any advice.
Let me know what agency you used so that we can avoid using that service provider....
