I have just applied for the AINP/H1-B program last month and still waiting to hear back from them. Do you folks advise I go ahead and get my state PCC (two states in my case)? Is there any expiration to the PPC?
Also, what about the FBI checks?

Current timeline is 5 months to get nomination letter. PCCs are valid only for 3 months. Wait for some more time to apply for PCCs

Yes wait the best idea is to apply while get file number.

Nomad,

It is likely we know each other (I went to VT for my Master's).  I live in the Chicago area now, so any VT games I catch are on TV (yeah, I am stuck with the incredibly boring Big 10 games).

Cheers,

aNewHope,

I may know you (unless you got your undergrad degree at VT). I became a lifelong fan of Hokie football when I stepped into B'burg that very fall!
good times!!! Smiley

are you going to the UGA game?
