state clearance

For an In-land application, aside from the FBI POLICDE CERTIF., is the "state clerance certificate needed as wellL)?

For california, how to get it done.?  Thanks.  (i read somewhere that it is not needed until they ask for it) .... do they mean that is the case for inland application for PR as well?

glad to see pmm around again.  PMM, I hope you can help clear the last question i have.  i found out what is police certificate now (which is the fbi stamp on your finger printing) and after you et that back, you submit with your APP for PR.  now, how about the STATE clearnace certificate...... an you help answer that?


if you did this before you come to canada, and you do in-land app, do they wonder and giv eyou a hard time?  even though you have sufficient proof of the legitimatcy of your marriage? if you are doing through wedding sponsoroship

Gray area, sometimes Buffalo insists and sometimes they seem to forget, but to be on the safe side, you should get state clearances.
