All,
I spoke to the lawyer who is handling my immigration regarding the nominations they are currently receiving based on Application dates. It seems like they are currently processing late March to early April applications. I was told that they were receiving almost 10 nomination packages per day from AINP(but this is all streams not just H1B). It seems that based on current processing times we should start receiving either Doc requests or direct nominations in the next few months.

Congrate ! Khan.
God will help in next steps.

Applicaiton recieved April 5, 09
File # recieved on Aug 12, 09

I was few questions if any one could answer.

How people recieving doc request ? ( email or mail)
Mostly what kind of dos they are asking from everyone?
I haven't applied for fbi report yet. what would be best to start the process ( idea/guess)?
I have changed my employer and as the same time my job title has also changed on my new job? Will it effect my nomination?
I have asked my old employer to keep H1 active untill Sep 30, 10 and he has agreed. I am going to have both H1 active .
Do I need to inform Alberta about change of employer and job title? while my old H1 is active. Even my  H1 transfer approval  may take 2 months from now. I have just recieved a reciept.

Any advise is appriciated.

What you have to do now is to submit your application to Buffalo along with some documents. Visa Office Specific Instructions for Buffalo (http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLish/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf) will be your best guide. It lists all forms/documents which we need to send to Buffalo (Just follow "P" column for Provincial Nominee).

The links below are very useful when you prepare your application to Buffalo:
Application for Permanent Residence (Guide for Provincial Nominees): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EP7.pdf

Good Luck!

I have a lawyer...so someone from the lawyer's emailed me requesting new docs...

I believe AINP usually emails if they need additional papers. Don't worry they will send you the nomination soon:)

So, you are in marketing as well? Are you in the US?

I called AINP last Tuesday and tried to understand the realistic approximate time, one should wait to get the AINP Nomination after getting the file no.

The person informed me following things:
- If you have got the file no., it means that you are found eligible for the AINP nomination and you will surely get it if all the rest of the requirements requested are fulfilled (documents requested later on).
- Secondly, the max time which can be taken to issue the nomination is 10 months approx.

So according to him for my time line (app date - 3rd April / File No. - 12 August), I should be able to get it around May end or June 1st week, in worst case scenario.

Hope this information helps.

Guys, looks like most of us who applied in NOC 2171 are the ones who are in the waiting list. Naturally, its the IT code and thats where usually bottlenecks are.

Lets keep waiting Smiley
