Hi,
To all the applicants of SRS H1B AINP,
Since there has been considerable amount of movement in US Green card priority dates for EB2 category and that many applications have been approved recently, please consider my request...
Incase you are no longer interested in Canadian PR (since you have been approved for GC) ,if there is a way - please call AINP and withdraw your cases, so that other applicants including me and my family who are hoping on moving to canada as Permanent Residents will have our applications processed quickly.
This is just a request only in case you are no longer interested in Canadian PR.
thank you
regards sasi
thank you

Hello ,
I applied as of April 14 through lawyers, i havent recieved any acknowldgement yet. I'm not even sure if they have recieved my application. When i checked with lawyers they said the only confirmation i get is the file number , is that so ? Will i (or the lawyers) recieve any confirmation email/letter stating they have recieved it and processing the application ?

No, AINP does not send you any confirmation of your application receipt before issuing your file number. But your lawyer must have sent your application to AINP by registered mail or by courier, so you can ask your lawyer for the delivery tracking information.

Hi is that any one has the news about nomination , its shows in threads that alberta has increase their time limit which is now 12 months , I got my file no in June 09 , my question is :- 1. Is that worth to shift your self to Canada specially in Alberta . 2. What all you think about the possibility to get a nomination this year who had applied in end of December 08 or beginning of this year . 3. And after getting nomination how much time it will take to get a real PR , which I think is a dream for all of us whether its in USA or now its is Canada too.
regards, Tony

I don't think Alberta is going to issue any nominations this year. I applied in February and got my file number in March but still now nothing!!!!.

Wanted to share my info to you. Finally i got a file number on monday Oct 26th. Though i thought my application reached on April 10th, it shows that my application date as April 20th. Below are my timelines.
Applied: April 20 Applied under code: 2174 File number recived: October 26 Last four digits: XXXX-XX-34XX
Now its time to wait for nominations....By looking at these forumns, i see that its Loong way to go for it (12 months total for nomination + additional 3-6 months for PR). Fast track of AINP is not fast track anymore.
I wish Good luck to all.

Hello all,
I'm in the middle of moving places, and hence there will be a change of address happening soon. Can you advise if this is going to delay/affect the process. How should I go about notifying Alberta.
Thank you
