Yes I beleive many of us are very much on the same boat which ain't going newhere!! My applications reached on 6th April, NOC 2173. Is there neone else out there who has received a file # for NOC 2173?

I guess we need to wait couple of more days. They are just sending this email so that people will not try to contact them. The process is definitely slow but if we see the 15th March - 30th March applicants thread and VSRAO's list, it can be easily analyzed that they are proceeding further. They are almost at the application received date of 30th March as of the current status. I am sure in another 2-3 days or may be in the next week, we should be able to hear from them regarding the file number at least.

Waiting folks,
Looks like they are only working on giving out file numbers and filing the applications in their file racks. No one is working on processing the nomination.

Congrats, khan! It is great to hear April applicants are receiving file numbers. But, the file number you posted is the FIRST 4 digits. Could you post LAST 4 digits of your file number? (The first 4-6 digits are the same for almost all applicants. Last 4 digits can tell us something about AINP process.) Thanks. |

Hey Guys,
What a coincidence?
Yesterday, I scrapped this forum with a note to wait for some more time and my wait for the file number got over today.
I got the file number..........and now officialy starting the wait for the nomination.
The last 4 digit of my file number are 28XX and it has been received on 28th July.
I will update VSRAO's tracking doc soon.
Lets see how much time its gonna take for the File No.
Someone is challenging our patience...........accept it guys. But don't loose hope.
We will get it. We are together. :)

i sent my application on 22th march 2009 they got it on 23rd march i got filenumber on 5th of August

Congrats, ag_tou! Yes, you are right! We will never lose our hope! And now I'm helping vsrao and DJ updating everybody's info in the tracking system, so I will update your info, too. (Sadly there are bad users who want to mess up the spreadsheet. Someone actually entered false info using my user ID!) But I have a question; Did you receive your file number today or on July 28?
