Hi,

Nice to see some company in the same boat:-) My application was received on April 14th and got Employee File number yesterday i.e. 17th June. And my H1 is valid till Nov, 2009. Will I be able to get approval by then? When I checked in Albertacanada site for processing times, they mentioned that the Notification (pre-assessment) is up to 4 months and candidate assessment upto 4 months.

What is Notification (pre-assessment)? Is it about just getting the file number which I already got? Or will it start after receiving the file number? Please help me with the answer.

Thanks and regards!

Better you notarize it and send.

Application delivered on April 14, 2009
Received file number on June 17,2009 and the last four digits starts with 3XXX

Quick Question, I just received a new I797 approval notice and I want to send it to the AINP office, Do you think just faxing the approval notice would be fine or I have to get it notarized again and mail them?

Thanks in advance for answering my question.

Good Luck

How were you notified? Via email or mail and who was it FROM? Mine was delivered on April 14th as well & was a self-prepared application.

Thanks!

Hello everyone.

Now we are all confused how and in what order AINP is issuing our File Nmbers (especially Feb, Mar, Apr, and May applications). So why don't we organize all the information we have?

Let's post our file number timeline in the following format. This way, we can track who is receiveng file numbers and eventually when our nominations are coming!

ApplnRecd          NOC        File#       FileRecdDt         PreAssement
(date appln                                                                      Yes/No
 delivered
 to AINP)

01/01/09          2131        39XX        06/15/09                  N            (This is just an example and not a real info)

File# should show the last 4 digits of your File Number (the last 2 digits are not significant)

Also, we should post our timeline in the following thread, too: H1B - Alberta PNP File Number / Certificate Timeline

my NOC code was 0213 ... the IT manager  code.
I prepared the application myself.

I hope that we all get our nominations soon. In the email it said 40-60 days.

40-60 days? Woooow, that's a great news! (becuase it takes up to another 4 months for nomination, according to the website)

And since the content of the email (with your file number) from AINP seems new to us, could you post exactly what they say in the email?

Thank you!

New Process. APplication package mailed on April 8th. Recd on April 14th.

It could be that they are processeing the 0213 code first. The only other thing probably is the relatively higher than average salary I put on the application.

That could not be true because I know one was received on 14th April but she was in one of the software consultant categories not in 0213 and salary was also average nothing close to 100k. The only thing consistent so far has been that all recipients seem to have 31xx in their file #.... everything else is different (like noc, application method lawyer/self, and so on...)

Q: Any non 31XX file # received in June, please stand up...i mean post up Smiley ?

We are only required 1 yr exp in US to be eligible... and the person I know who received # has 2yr exp. But we are all forgetting, in order to receive file # we must not be approved but the other way round, in order to be processed (approved or denied), we must have a file# so all of these things should not matter for file#.
