My application was received on the 21's of April and yesterday I got an email from Lisa and no File# yet,

AINP US Visa Holder Category Applicants

Priority processing will be given to those who have a job offer from an Alberta Employer.

If you have a job offer from an Alberta employer send us a copy of the offer along with the job description. Click here

A job offer can be your contract or letter of employment from an Alberta employer. The job offer must be in a field related to your current occupation in the US. The document must be on the official letterhead of the Alberta employer you will be working for.

Hi Amit, No offenses to you but dude.....It was worth spending $20 with Fedex. You won't be hanging in a limbo state now. Indian Postal Service is far better than USPS.

I would suggest that you call AINP officials and ask if they can give you any information based on your name etc.

I have sent my application. I have sent it by regular air-mail without tracking and confirmation.

Let's just not call AINP. They will not give you the conformation of application receipt or update on your application status (unless your wait is longer than the processing time they provide). Calling AINP will just increase the processing times of all applications and it is NOT good for all of us!

I received an email indicating "If you are the recipient of this email, Alberta Employment and Immigration has received your application under the AINP U.S. Visa Holder Category. " but there is no file number? are others getting a file number?

Application received on 28 April.

No. That email does not contain the file number. It revises the precessing time to 12 months.

Thanks

Guys,

I also received the similar email.
I wonder  if everyone received this email or just April 15-April 30 applicant.
Are they going to send the file # later ?

I believe everyone got the email. See other forums. I am a May applicant and got it. File number can come anywhere between now to 12 months ( Much sooner if you have a job).

Thanks

 @ AlbertaGovernor
Actually I was not knowing much at that time and my friend suggested to apply thru lawyer so I did. They have charged around seventeen hundred USD.

Looks like this program is not fast-track.

program was created as a fast track program to attract talent to Alberta. all the reddy consultants applied and now they have loads of application. so they are slowing down to filter the good talent from the fake.
