2012 Target Occupations
Dentists
Engineering Technicians
Licensed Practical Nurses
Medical Radiation Technologists
Physicians
Teachers (K-12)

These are just an additional six target occupations identified in the Pan-Canadian Framework for inclusion by December 31, 2012, for the Assessment and Recognition of Foreign Qualifications, whereby foreign-trained professionals in priority occupations will have their qualifications assessed within one year. (Framework is intended over time to apply to all regulated occupations)

It does not imply that these will be included in the occupation in demand list of MI-4

Dear, currently lubob is maintaining the list in google documents (link is there in his timeline/signatures)
I stopped because it is a very time consuming job to maintain list here in a table form.... and there is also no movement in our cases. Whenever we again see some positive signs, I will try to update it asap, out of my excitement  Cheesy

Hi All,

Just a thought - please share your views:

With the initiative of a pilot program - may they are processing those files (including MR, PPR, RPRF etc) that meet their requirements and are not sure of the number of candidates that will get through albeit the quota is well defined. So may be concurrently they are reviewing files from various MIs , performing the various checks and keeping them ready for processing (including MR, PPR, RPRF etc) at a later point in time. So once they have depleted this pool of candidates for the pilot they can easily fall back on the files that were ready for processing and take it from there.

But it is difficult to fathom the fact that only NDVO is not sending the MRs, PPRs and RPRFs.

Regards,

J

My consultant(whom I don't trust very much) informed me that one of his client whose application they sent some 15 days before me got medical request. He said the letter was dispatched sometime in March end, but he got this letter on 3rd May.
