dear all ,
recently god blessed me with a girl child .i informed CHC new delhi about the arrival . so far didnt get any information from them for update documents.how long it takes for visa office to inform us on what all has to be submitted.
meanwhile i have already started collecting the documents.
birth certifcate is done , passport is on the way . do i need to nortarize these documents ..for a positive response?
the most important thing is i need to update my proof of funds ...for three its 17011cad i already have 643000rs in savings bank account according to old money value now canadian dollar value is 50 INR  so for two this 643000is enough or do i increase it also i need to to increase funds for my daughter should i make a fixed deposit separate for my daughter or add money into my present savings since if i put in savings i dont get any interest or i want to make a fresh financial statement fixed deposit with 17011 $ and inform vis aoffice accordingly..but i have 1 fear that if i am moving my saving money and if that time vo checks my account will it be a problem?
already i had big loss by putting the money in savings account for last 2 years without anything happening . now my status shows in process . seniors please guide me out of this situation?

Regarding saving account money, you don't need to maintain the funds. if VO calls and you don't have money than they will ask for the updated fund statement. anyway you need to carry when you do immigration landing.

I think, BINSON need to maintain or add funds to his current proof of funds as there is a new family member added to this family for PR.

The Government of Canada does not provide financial support to new skilled worker immigrants.

Pray to god almighty continuously.....some changes are going to take place with regard to the skilled workers immigration...pls see the wording of Minister Kenney in an Interview ...and share your views


Minister Kenney gave the Globe & Mail a peek into the new points system and, in so doing, revealed that he intends to push further down the processing stream those applications which were filed before the yet-to-be-released new points system. The article did not say whether he intends to apply the new selection criteria retrospectively on applicants who had applied before he imposed the new criteria. The key paragraphs read:


[...] Mr. Kenney said in an interview Wednesday that he wants to create a new economic stream for trades people, who currently don't qualify under Canada's education-focused federal skilled worker program.

He also said employers will soon be able to hand-pick prospective immigrants and send them to the front of the line for assessment.

“Once people have been identified by employers, if they meet our other standards we would fast-track them into the country,” Mr. Kenney said. [...]

The first of these changes will be introduced over the next few months. Ability in English or French [...] will become more important under the new system. In future, professionals in language intensive fields, such as doctors and lawyers, will have to be fluent in an official language, Mr. Kenney said. That's a significant shift from Canada's current system, which rewards language ability but doesn't set such a high benchmark. At the same time, Mr. Kenney said he wants a flexible language grid, so that applicants in fields that don't require a high level of fluency aren't automatically excluded.

Mr. Kenney also said he'll be considering a pre-assessment system, as they have in Australia, that evaluates the credentials of skilled professionals before they immigrate to see whether they will qualify to work in Canada.

Thanks! everyone for your clarifications and wishes     I had provided bank statements and summary with enough amount. I have no problem if they ask it again as I have enough in my a/c 

God give us strength and patience to go through this uncertain period ....

on side note: how much time NDVO takes to reply to any email query sent to them.  I recently changed my employer in US and informed them through email. I know they would request some docs but just want to know from them what exact docs they need. Probably they might not be interested in new employer docs

Any liquid fund (other than cash) will be sufficient and I believe it must be atleast more than 6 months old

I only know a couple of christians here in India, studying in a missionary school and a couple in my workplace.
Maybe in India things are a bit different.
