I have to say psychology is at  play here. When you were all in limbo you thought in terms of "maybe next month" but now you are all so close that you are thinking "maybe tomorrow." It's actually harder but you should try to remember how far you have come and how close you are to completing your journeys. You've been accepted. There could be an e-mail on Monday, a medical on Wednesday and a visa.........

Wish you all well.

More of frustration than psychological

with Career
Financial decisions
Family decision

etc etc all coming to a halt

I hope so too.
Yet I am not very optimistic.
It will still be around 6 to 8 months for a visa.

Nano, what makes you say 6 to 8 Months for a visa?

Its just my speculation.

It takes 3 to 5 or sometimes more months for a visa after medicals.
And God only knows when we'll get medical request.

It may not take that much time after medicals...as validity of visa will be one year from medicals....only in rare cases it happens....

On an average, people are getting visas with 2 months of passport submission

You are right.
But we are pre june candidates. Normally it takes 1 month to issue medicals after in process, for us it is more than 2 months.

I do not feel very optimistic about getting visa too.

I was not able to look at Ecas for a long time when I checked today, I noticed that by God's grace I see that the file has moved to inprocess, experts/seniors please advise does it mean

1) I have the required 67 points to qualify?
2) My documents are good to go for the next steps of medicals?
3) When can I expect medicals?

Congrats...

There are many NDVO applicants are with this situation from past three months but none got any update from VO, so please wait more couple of weeks for some update.

FYI,
Other VO are already started sending out emails to update the documents and also issuing Medicals.
