Yes, The High Commission is planning to create a pool of emergency employees to meet its short term requirements. The initial appointment shall be for 92 days and may extend up to a maximum of 125 working days in a period of 12 months depending on the operational requirements. |

It may be. But lets not forget that NDVO may be receiving 'student visa applications' too. Don't know whether immigration covers FSW & student permits. Hopefully it is for immigration. |

Obviously,NDVO has the largest inventory to clear.The bringing of adv.also substantiates the fact that VO is also facing heat of the moment nd now is giving priority to clear the prejunres applications.MAY be coming weeks/months shall be good for all,particularly those who are at THE FAG END of processing stage nd are waiting for their MRS/VISA DOCS.

Student Visa and Immigration are handle by two diff departments do Not depend on each other It may be.
But lets not forget that NDVO may be receiving 'student visa applications' too.
Don't know whether immigration covers FSW & student permits.
Hopefully it is for immigration.

Just for the record China has the largest Inventory and NDVO had the second largest Both VO are also one aggressive in Processing and Slow in MR Dear lokoko0,

NVDO just started recruitment // advt published - it may take 2-3 months for finalizing the candidates. how they can help us because we are waiting since Jan and we are optimistic that we may receive Meds by 1st or 2nd weeks of April 2012.
wooohhhhhhh any way these recruitment news is good for us - they are now more focused to clear pre june applications .

NO no... we are not in the backlog. Those who are referred to the PNP have already received the letters from the respective Provincial Govt's. Even in the backlog (pre Feb 2008), only people who have applied in or after 2005 have received such letters. 2004 applicants have not received any such letters. We will get the MR/PPR as soon as ECU is confident that the sufficient visa quota is available for prejunes and if given medicals, they will be able to get visas within the validity period of medicals (1 year). There may be more to clear. Plus even after medicals, some processing needs to be done. Only my assumptions!!!
