NVDO just started recruitment // advt published - it may take 2-3 months for finalizing the candidates. how they can help us because we are waiting since Jan and we are optimistic that we may receive Meds by 1st or 2nd weeks of April 2012.
wooohhhhhhh any way these recruitment news is good for us - they are now more focused to clear pre june applications .
some of us observed that chc nd was working even on sat-sundays to meet their objective in the absence of ample staff thats why they r recruiting new staff just a guess |

It is all under the budget of Canada. And Canada Government will never compromise on burden on employees. The maximum an employee can work in a week is fixed in hours. So if they do work on a Sunday, they have to take componsatory off that week itself. |

Hi
I am in process since 2nd Feb 2012. I got my CAIPS report. It is mentioned that : PAPER FILE SENT TO MPR FILE BF'D TO M1G ON 01-06-2012. I could not understand why two names MPR and M1G is mentioned ? In my total funds it is mentioned $00000000 . Does it mean I will be asked for document updates for POF ?? Plz clarify me.
What does this 'MPR' and 'M1G' mean? If any one of the senior members would be kind enough to answer this... Thanks. |

Today Canada had a federal budget. They are going to eliminate the immigration backlog by refunding the fees and closing the files. This does not affect the pre-June applications, in fact it may be good news for you guys in terms of freeing up resources.
The federal government will refund up to $130 million to federal skilled workers who applied to come to Canada before 2008 in a bid to get rid of a backlog of about 300,000 applications through legislation.

They cound'nt be working concurrently ,had they been doing so the back log would not have been created at all What I believe is that they work parallel to all pre and post. So, now They will save that time to work more on our file.

As of now it will be advantageous to Pre Juners, though not by much(we are already at a disadvantage). The main problem with the Pre Feb 2008 will be their age. For eg a 30 year old applicant of 2004 will be 38 now and won't be able to contribute much to the economy(that's how Canadian govt sees it) http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/offices-bureaux/2012-delhi-employment-363-emploi.aspx?lang=en&view=dWas this the reason for recruitment at the New Delhi Visa office, to return the applications??? Or to aid the Pre Juners?? Btw now I don't feel that secure.Not to mention that the process for immigration will change a lot in coming months, more like Australian immigration. You may need to get your credentials evaluated before filing itself and then it will become speedier. |
