Dear JasjeetSingh,

  except NVDO rest all VO are sending medicals for Pes june . even Manila VO sending Medicals very fast for pre-june . we are optimistic that NVDO also start sending Medicals by Mid April or May .

 many of us requested CAIPS nots - that will clear real picture !!

I spoke to my consultant today. He told me that he has recently seen a MR for a case that went into IP around Dec 2011. So acc to his logic, it should take around 3-4 months to get MR out or a decision made. Also I asked him to get my CAIPS notes for me, since I have hired  a lawyer based in Canada. He wasn't too sure if that is possible but I was insistent. Let's see what comes out of it. But now from what I can tell, there are no clear signs for MR coming out.

I do have a doubt, If the VO lists its processing time as 18 months (like NDVO) does, would that then not mean that it will take over year and a half to process an application after the IP date? Just wondering, any body with an explanation?

MY timeline

"We received your application for permanent residence on February 5, 2010.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 18, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on March 24, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.
 
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 16, 2012. "

 I am in process since 2nd Feb 2012. I got my CAIPS report. It is mentioned that : PAPER FILE SENT TO MPR FILE BF'D TO M1G ON 01-06-2012. I could not understand why two names MPR and M1G is mentioned ? In my total funds it is mentioned $00000000 . Does it mean I will be asked for document updates for POF ?? Plz clarify me.

Dear Mkmishra, could you please provide more details as to what else has the Visa officer has mentioned on the file for example? has he given points to other factors like IELTS, Education and not just age? what are the  total points calculated? I suggest you can remove your personal(identifiable details) rest you can put in the forum so that experts/seniors can advise on the case.

I had sent a case specific inquiry to NDVO on 1st March, due to change in my marital status..

'This is to inform, that in order to notify you of the change in my status from 'never married' to 'married', I had sent a fax to your office on 10th Feb 2012 stating the same. For this effect I have send a courier (Blue Dart No: xyz) containing all the necessary updated forms, along with photographs of my spouse as well as that of the marriage. The fee payment form has also been included with the necessary credit card details. The courier was delivered to your office on 28th Feb. Hoping that the documents have been recieved by your office and the same will get updated soon. '

Today I received the reply by NDVO.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.
You may note that we have received your spouse's documents.  An Acknowledgement of Receipt letter was sent to you after your application was received by our office.  Your application has now been reviewed by a visa officer.

Unless we have specifically asked you to do so, you are not required to submit any documentation at this time.  Our office will contact you to provide any additional supporting documentation for the assessment of your application.
 
If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after 27 February 2008 and before 26 June 2010, processing of your application is likely to begin in 2012; however, finalization may not occur until after 2012.

How did you show your proof of funds (FD/bank statement, etc.,?) and how much (sufficient for number of family members?)?

Can it be the reason why CHC New Delhi not issuing MR/PPR after so many days of our in process dates (whereas other VO's do that within days of processing start).

May be NDVO is falling short of staff... which is why it is recruiting temporary employees for about 3 months???
