Spouse's documents for CEC ?
«

All,
Any of you married men/ women who have already applied for CEC (or will be applying soon), did you include employment and education documents for you spouse as well ?
I know the CEC document checklist says that you don't have to, but was wondering what's the news from the field ...
Any answers will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sudz

Hi, what if my spouse is working outside of Canada and never been in Canada before? Can we still apply for CEC together with me as the principal applicant? I'm confused about whether the CEC means all the applicants (includes second applicant) must meet the same requirements?
Thanks in advance

There is only one applicant. Your spouse is your dependent. They are just assessing that the principal applicant meets the requirements for eligibility for CEC. Your dependents must meet the medical, criminal and security criteria but not the rest.
