Hello,

I wanted to know, if somebody is studying in UK (his status is student VISA) and wants to apply for Canadian Immigration (as a spouse, sponsored by his husband/wife) then will she/he able to apply from UK for spouse immigration?

Because for UK time length is 8-months and from Pakistan it will take 24-months. This is more optimum way. But I am not sure can it be doable or not?

Is anybody did it before or hear about it please let me know.

Best Regards,

If you plan on returning to Pakistan then your best bet would be to obviously use the visa office there. Being that the UK is faster, then you should use that visa office. You are a student there so there shouldn't be any problems .  If you leave the UK....then they should let you back in without problems.

You will have to get police clearances for both the UK and Pakistan and any other countries you resided in for more than 6 mths over the age of 18.

Sorry! I can't at the moment. I'm using my mobile internet.

You can process in the UK once you have resided there legally for a year.  If it is less than a year, you will have to use the Pakistan Visa Office.
