VO may not be satisfied with the notarized copies and may ask for transcripts. Please arrange the transcripts. I am pasting below an excerpt from CHC e-mail to me last year

"Universities in India are familiar with our requirements and have not, to date, refused to issue sealed transcripts. If you are unable to obtain sealed transcripts, you may submit notarized transcripts however, they will be subject to close scrutiny and the visa officer may still require sealed transcripts."

Dear Ankit  & Nadeem

Thanks for your replies

Ankit , iwould like to share with you that I as PA ( Principal Applicant )  had submitted my Orgiginal Trancsript in University Envelope.

But for my spouse is that mandatory follow the same thing , as Nadeem said that only notarised copies of educational certificates will work.

And incase CHC is ask for Transcripts that can be submitted later. Does that work ?

If I were you I would not take chances, specially if my spouse education points are needed for cross threshold of 67 points.
I have observed that CHC have been really strict after mid june and have more rejections than approvals in last three months on this forum.
Rest it is your decision, you may be successful without transcripts but what if not?

Dear Ankit

I appreciate your advise . But i have submitted notarized copies of degrees and  markesheet for my spouse. If I can get the transcripts from Uuniversity for my spouse ( it will take maximum 15-20 days ) . Can I submit it to CHC . What should I write to them . Please guide me.

I dont want to take any risk !!!

I vouch for Ankit. He is right. Transcripts are necessary for fast processing at least.

I would not say to the extent that your case may be rejected if spouse's transcripts are not there but it will definitely delay your case.

So friend arrange and send to CHC and wait peacefully without worry.

Write a cover letter explaining that Transcripts were hard to obtain so you sent the notarized copies with your full package and since now you were able to get the transcripts you are sending the same

Ask them contact you in case they need any clarification

Thanks Ankit I will do that accordingly.

One thing is that Probalay it will take 20 days atleast ( becoz you know Indian Universities) to get my transcripts. I am little bit apprehensive if CHC can take their decision in accordance with docs sent without asking for transcripts !!!

In that case what can I do now !!!

I would not think so that CHC will staright away reject because of missing Transcripts. They may do some background check and may write to you to submit the same.

Just do not worry, get the transcripts, send them across and relax.

All the best
