Hello,
I am about to send application but I have a  few questions about IMM 5669E Personal History...my husband is 30 so when it says PErsonal history since 18 or past 10 years which ever comes first? Does he date back to when he was 20???also, he was a student most of his life do you think its ok if he just reiterates that infromation with 1 partime job? I am confused or does he have to state EVERY SINGLE time he travelled for example for 2 weeks to visit his family? etc ...he stated year and months and didnt miss any gaps but within those period he wenrt on 2 week vacation etc?? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

No, he goes back to age 18.

Don't understand your question.

No, he does not have to list every vacation he ever took. He has to list all of his permanent residential addresses since age 18, and every job or school he attended since age 18.  No gaps.

Since he was a student most of the time, for the personal history he should list any jobs he did have; then for the rest of the time he should state what he was doing: studying at X University from ---- to ----, for example. It is important to not leave any gaps in the dates.

If he has to complete a travel history form, then yes, he should include all trips, even short ones. Two-week vacations do not have to be listed separately on the personal history form, though, since his residence would not change. He's from Lebanon, right? In which case I think he does have to complete the Travel Form.

Thanks for your reply...I was just wondering in regards to that supplementary form about military service and if he didnt serve they need an Exemption Card? HE was a student in university and studying abroad so what does he have to do to get this from Lebanon?!?! HELP** how hard is it to obtain such a certificate?

Try looking at this CIC page:
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/lebanon-liban/consular_services_consulaires/notary_services_notariaux.aspx?lang=eng&view=d
It has a link to the Lebanese Army website, which states who can be exempted from military service.
