Hello everybody. My english is not perfect so i apologize in advance.

Anybody has received the papers for spouse sponsorship within Canada?

I got married in July 2 and i sent my papres in October, i went to CIC web page and it says "We received your application for permanent residence on October 9, 2010" and "We started processing your application on November 15, 2010"

Untill today i havent received any papers...it's been 9 months. i know the first step takes 9-10 months and the second takes 9 months (form latin america) but is so hard because i know i cant leave the country untill i have all the papers.. so it's been a while since i saw my family. i so hard because i want to go and see them but im scared if i leave my papers are going to be cancel.

Has anyone received the papers? and how long did you have to wait for them? And i want to know if somebody has left Canada and then come back without any problem.

Thank you very much hopefully someone can help me

You need a visa to get into Canada. If you leave Canada now, you will have to get a visitor's visa to get back in, but they will not give you one (almost certainly). So if you leave, you won't be able to get back in to Canada, and if you are not in Canada for an inland application, the application will be cancelled.

If you leave Canada now, your PR application will be cancelled.
