hello  i have a query my husband is a permanent resident of canada and i m in india he is applying for my sponsership from there we had already prepared the documents nd he is applying in january 2011 how much is the processing time as he is applying the sponseship from mississauga.

Assessment of sponsor: 38 days
Assessment of applicant in New Delhi: 6 months

my husband is yet to apply for spouse visa bt at the same time he says that he want to apply for visitor visa what are the consequences if he does like this.

The visitor visa will probably be refused. For a visitor visa you have to prove you will leave Canada; since you want to immigrate to Canada, and your husband lives there, it will be difficult to prove you will leave. Still, applying for a visitor visa once won't hurt your chances for a PR visa, so it's worth a try.

hello there i got to knw frm ur side that the assessment of my husband that if he can sponser me takes 38 days bt nw its been mre than 38 days frm the time my husband has applied for my case but there has been no reply from there side as yet. Is this a genuine thing or is there smthing wrong ?plz help me i m really in trouble

its been 1 mnth and 15 days there is no reply wat should i do as i checked on the immigration site that they are working on the applications recieved on 25th bt my husband applied on 14th. is this possible that they dnt give any reply...........

Call CIC and ask them what is happening.

They always give a reply.

The sponsorship decision is taken in Mississauga, and I know the Canadian help line has access to information about cases there.
No idea if ND can help, but I would try them first.

k then i wil be calling the cic canada bt wt should i tel i have no identificatin number, no recipt number widout it would they be giving any reply to me
