hi i am new user to this forum. I have a PR status in canda. i landed here in july 2008.  Now i am planning to get married in India in jan 2009. Is there anyhting that i can do before going to india for marriage.like filling some forms that can help in fastening the PR process of my wife.

No, you can't file any part of the application until you are married.  I hope you plan to return to Canada after the wedding as PRs must sponsor from within Canada.  Only Canadian citizens can sponsor from abroad.
