Hi Friends,
My husband and I a have been going back and forth since our marriage date -feb 2007.
The last time (and hopefully last) that my husband entered the coutry he did not receive a stamp from the customs officer at the airport. My question, is there another way for him to have his proof of entry other than leaving the country and re-entering?
The whole process is scary, not sure why this is but it is so.
We are almost 100% complete the forms and we have to provide proof of entry,

Also since he is American, we need to request his FBI records, whats happens if he has not criminal record? will the FBI still have a file? Also the doc that needs to be submitted (Appendix B) has no real instructions in regards to where to send this, however the instructions on how to obtain a police certificate indicate that a fingerprint card be sent to the local police station. WE obtained a state criminal record doc. record however I'm not sure if this is sufficient. The Forms refer to A client id number however; we have not received one since we have not yet submitted the forms.

Any words of advice, I'm so confused,

jen

hi~

i can tell you about clerances, you need one for each state you lived in for more than 6 months since you turned 18(or your husband whichever one is from the states) Here is a link on addresses and instructions.

http://www.geocities.com/canadian_im...lub/state.html

for the federal- they will just stamp the back of your fingerprint card "No Record" and you send that in with your apps.

the Doctor exam, you need to send the Appendix B in with your app, and the doctor will send in the rest.

Send everything in at one time so there is no dely, are you applying outside of canada?

Hi Tamee, thanks for the reply.

I have a state fingerprint card-form.
the link you provided did not work.
The doctor exam is completed, however i am still not sure about this Appendix B.

My biggest Q is:
How to get proof from his most recent entering in the country, I think a stamped Passport would be sufficient however this would require he leave and re-enter since the last time he came here they did not stamp his passport. Is there anyway around this?

Thank Again
