Spouse passport renewed before application sent?!?!

Hi,my husband has recently renewed his passport but we had already complted the documents referencing the old passpport number...but i still didnt send the application...is that going to be a problem? what should 'I do?Should I include a copy of his new passporrt and make a note or somethging???

yes definitely you should include the new passport number.... once you renew your passport and you get a new passport, old passport is only for record purpose and for the reason if it contains the visa for any country and you need to show it at the entry to that particular country...
expired passport holds no other importance.. CIC office is not going to stamp visa on expired passport and they would need a information of the new passport in order to stamp it....

you should keep both the passport with you whenever you are traveling out of your country...
