Hello,

I am immigration to Canada with my wife as a skilled worker under federal program. .I'm a principal applicant  .Does my wife has to go for an  interview?

What happens if after receiving a PR I had to go live back to my native country and my wife would decided  to stay in canada. Would she loose a PR card?

Thank you,

CIO waived interview in majority cases.

Its very rare that your spouse will be interviewed.

It's a bit complicated since it depends on whether your wife can sustain herself without your financial support. Does she have the qualification and experience to work in Canada in whatever profession she'z comfortable? If not, then I think you cannot leave her alone.
Ofcourse there are other criteria as to how long you can be away from Canada before your PR status is
cancelled. Please visit the CIC website for more accurate details.
