No sis....Vancouver is the port of entry,dun nila kinukuha lahat ng infos mo for immigration etc. Sa Pearson airport ang talagang lalapagan mo if sa Toronto and surrounding cities etc ang destination mo.

FYI dalawa ang port of entry ng Canada VANCOUVER and TORONTO lang kase sa Toronto ako nagland and lahat ng applicant sa Ontario Mississauga pinaprocess (outland) and Vegreville (inland)

ang pinagkaiba lang mas strict sa Vancouver (madalas) kase mostly lahat ng applicant sa Vancouver naglaland so mas strict sila dun lalo na sa mga nagapply ng FSW. mas marami sila tanong compare sa Toronto pero siyempre depende pa din sa Immigration Officer na nag i-interview sa applicant.

anyway, para lang hindi malito, yung mga bound to Ontario pwede kayo magland sa Pearson Toronto or Vancouver. may choice kayo kung saan niyo gusto ) so un naging issue to dati eh sana ok na

Tama si Mrs. Vip - its not only Vancouver but also Toronto.
That is where I landed and my port of entry when I came to Canada. I was under a Family Class Sponsorship.
Hope this clarifies the confusion =)

Sa wakas, dumating na rin ang Police Clearance ng hubby ko from Saudi....

What should I do next? So far hindi pa naman hinihingi ng CEM, should I send it now or wait till hey request it?

Ask ko lng po kung meron kayo alam na habang naghihintay ng immigrant visa ay nakapunta sa Canada as tourist? Kasamahan ko kc sa trabaho na taga hongkong yun daw ginawa ng asawa ng pinsan nya. Ang tagal kc ng 6-9 months para maghintay. Kaya lang di ba hinihingi passport at hawak nila yung hanggat di nagagrant immigrant visa? Salamat po.
